Hi beloved friends and family!
We are so excited to share this blog with all of you so you can keep up with our month long "voyage" in Europe if you would like! The idea for this grand adventure was born about seven months ago in Buffalo Wild Wings. But really the only reason we are able to do this is because we are such great friends. It takes a very special friendship in order to spend an entire month together, casting ourselves throughout 8 different countries and 14 different cities!
We named our blog "It All Started at a Little Church Called St. Anne", because that special place was the vessel for which all three of us grew very close together. Our sophomore year, God brought us together. Now it is clearly and excitingly evident how God is making great things out of it. One of the things we're most excited about while we're in Europe is that we're going to visit all three of our confirmation saints. First we will be seeing Maria's saint, the incorruptible Saint Bernadette in Lourdes, France. Then we will see the cell where Daniel's saint, Saint Maximilian Kolbe was burned in Auschwitz, Poland. Then finally we will be visiting Tim's saint, Saint Padre Pio, who in incorruptible as well in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. So this is a backpacking trip and a pilgrimage. That's why I think that what we're doing is truly special.
Anyways, I feel like I've written too much for our first post, so all that I'm going to do in addition on this post is share with you where exactly were going!

July 11-14 Madrid and Toledo, Spain
July 15-16 Lourdes, France
July 17-18 Antibes, France
July 19-21 Paris, France (with a day trip to Normandy)
July 22-24 London, England
July 25-26 Amsterdam, The Netherlands
July 26-28 Berlin, Germany
July 29-30 Krakow and Auschwitz, Poland
July 31-Aug 2 Prague, Czech Republic
Aug 3 Munich, Germany
Aug 4 Venice, Italy
Aug 5-10 Rome, Italy

Today Tim and I are exactly two weeks and one day away from meeting Daniel in Madrid. (I'm sure you all have been checking out Daniel's study abroad on facebook).

The trip of a life time is SO incredibly close! Praise God that we have this opportunity!
